Tazkirah is provided free of charge to help Muslims stay consistent in daily worship — prayer times, Qibla direction, Qur'an audio, adhkar, a tasbih counter, and worship streak tracking. By using Tazkirah, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app — it's that simple.
Tazkirah currently requires no account, no payment, and no subscription to use any feature. There are no in-app purchases and no ads.
Prayer times and Hijri dates are calculated using established astronomical methods via a trusted third-party API; Qur'an verse translations, hadith text, and adhkar are drawn from widely accepted sources. We take care to keep this accurate, but Tazkirah is a practical tool, not a substitute for a qualified scholar — please verify anything of religious significance with a local imam or scholar, especially before relying on it for time-sensitive matters like fasting or Eid dates.
Prayer times and Qibla direction depend on your device reporting an accurate location and on the calculation method used. Signal strength, device settings, and calculation-method differences between scholarly schools can all affect precision. When accuracy genuinely matters (e.g. the exact start of a fast), cross-check with your local mosque.
Recitations are streamed from a third-party public content delivery network, not hosted by Tazkirah. Availability depends on that service remaining online; we're not able to guarantee uninterrupted playback.
Worship streaks, tasbih counts, and preferences are stored locally on your device (see the Privacy Policy for details) and are not backed up by us. If you clear your browser data, switch devices, or uninstall the app, this information is gone — we cannot restore it, because we never had a copy of it to begin with.
Please don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or abuse the app or the third-party services it relies on (including sending excessive automated requests to the prayer-time or audio APIs). The feedback form is for genuine suggestions, bug reports, and questions — not spam or abuse.
Tazkirah is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We work carefully to keep it accurate and available, but we can't guarantee it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate for every location or calculation method.
We may update these terms as Tazkirah grows — for example, if user accounts are introduced. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date, and significant changes will be noted on the homepage.
